⸻
STEP 1: Surface Preparation
1. Remove rotten wood using a chisel, knife, or wire brush until you reach solid, sound wood.
2. Clean the area thoroughly to remove dust, debris, loose fibers, mold, or dirt.
3. Ensure the surface is dry before proceeding.
⸻
STEP 2: Apply Epoxy Primer (Wood Hardener)
1. Mix Primer Part A and Part B in a 1:1 ratio in a clean container. Stir thoroughly for 1–2 minutes until fully blended.
2. Use a brush to apply the primer liberally to the damaged wood area.
3. Allow the primer to penetrate and cure for at least 2-4 hrs, or until the surface is tacky but no longer wet.
4. For very porous wood, a second coat may be applied.
⸻
STEP 3: Apply Epoxy Paste (Wood Filler)
1. Mix Paste Part A and Part B in a 1:1 ratio on a clean surface or mixing board. Blend until the color is uniform (usually 2–3 minutes). If the mixture is not thick enough for vertical surface, wait 10-30minutes for it to thicken up and then apply.
2. Use a putty knife or spatula to press the paste firmly into the repair area.
3. Shape, smooth, and mold the paste as desired. Slightly overfill to allow for sanding later.
⸻
STEP 4: Curing
• Let the epoxy paste fully cure for 24–48 hours (longer in cold conditions).
• Once hardened, it can be sanded, drilled, planed, or painted.
