Eparency polyaspartic coating is one type of polyurea coatings.

Benefit of Eparency polyaspartic:

Eparency polyaspartic coating comes with two kits, one epoxy primer and one polyaspartic top coating.

100% UV stable, never have to worry about discoloring. Suitable for clear coating and exterior/interior use.

Longer pot life compare with epoxy coating due to low exothermic curing process.

Eparency polyaspartic coating curing time depends on the coating thickness, ambient temperature and air moisture content. Quite opposite to epoxy coating, thicker coat for Eparency polyaspartic coat would take longer to cure. Eparency polyaspartic coating comes as clear one, but you can add pigments and dyes to make it into any color and patterns.

Pot life (100ml mix): 2hrs

Curing time to reach touch dry (60% RH, 25°C, 0.3mm coating thickness): 4hrs

Curing time to reach complete dry for traffic use: 48hrs

Eparency Polyaspartic is a two parts kit with 1:1 mixing ratio. Eparency Polyaspartic is water clear. You can use it as clear or tint it into any colour with Eparency Inks. Eparency Primer is required to prevent moisture vapor underneath the concrete. Eparency Primer is also a two parts kit with 1:1 mixing ratio. Eparency Primer comes grey colour.

 Direction for use:

  1. Grind the floor. Clean the floor and let it dry completely. Newly layed concrete must be dried for 28 days
  2. Primer coat. Mix primer A and Primer B according to the mixing ratio. Do not alter the mixing ratio. Curing speed can not be changed by altering the mixing ratio.
  3. Spread epoxy primer evenly with brush or roller. Let the Eparency primer cure for overnight.
  4. Optional: sprinkle flakes/chips for flake flooring
  5. Mix Eparency polyaspartic A and B exactly as mixing ratio
  6. Spread polyaspartic with brush or roller. Coating thickness can vary from 0.2mm to 1mm
  7. Let cure for at least 48hrs before traffic use

Approximate usage for 40sqm concrete: you would roughly need 8 litre primer and 8 litre polyaspartic coating depending on the thickness of your intended flooring.

FAQ:

Will Eparency polyaspartic flooring tear and wear?

Any floor is subject to constant wear and tear. With epoxy or polyaspartic floor, one can always recoated another thin layer to keep this floor looking it's best at all times.

How to ensure a successful installment?

Always do a test area to ensure product satisfaction and become familiar with proper application techniques prior to use. Do not apply Eparency Polyaspartic Coating to surfaces with visible/standing moisture. Slab moisture testing is required for the application of Eparency Polyaspartic Coating. Substrate preparation and installation requirements are key to a successful installation regardless of flooring material being installed. Thoroughly clean surface or mechanically remove any substance that could interfere with the bond, including dirt, paint, oil, grease, laitance, efflorescence, curing compounds, residue, sealers, and any other surface contaminants that may inhibit proper bond.

Where can I use this Eparency polyaspartic floor system?

May be applied for garage floors, commercial kitchens, locker rooms, sports venues, automotive showrooms, veterinarian clinics, laundromats, or anywhere that an exceedingly resilient floor is required.

Polyaspartic Coating: A Revolution in Protective Coatings

Polyaspartic coating is a type of protective coating that is used to safeguard various surfaces such as concrete, metal, or even wood. It is a high-performance coating that possesses exceptional resistance to UV radiation, abrasion, chemicals, and extreme weather conditions. This coating is a versatile solution that can be applied to different surfaces with great ease.

Advantages of Polyaspartic Coating

  1. Rapid Cure Time: One of the key advantages of polyaspartic coating is its fast cure time. Unlike other coatings that may take several hours or even days to cure, polyaspartic coatings can cure within a matter of hours. This quick curing property enables faster project completion and minimizes downtime.
  2. Exceptional Durability: Polyaspartic coatings offer exceptional durability, making them suitable for high-traffic areas or surfaces that are exposed to harsh conditions. They can withstand heavy foot traffic, impact, and chemical exposure, ensuring that the coated surface remains protected and visually appealing for an extended period.
  3. UV Resistance: Polyaspartic coatings have excellent resistance to UV radiation. This feature makes them ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Even in extreme sunlight exposure, the coating does not yellow, crack, or fade, maintaining its original appearance and protective properties.
  4. Chemical Resistance: Polyaspartic coatings have remarkable chemical resistance. They can withstand exposure to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, alkalis, solvents, and oils. This makes them suitable for industries such as manufacturing, food processing, and automotive, where chemical spills and exposure are common.
  5. Versatility: Polyaspartic coatings can be applied to various surfaces, including concrete, metal, and wood. Whether it's a warehouse floor, a metal roof, or a wooden deck, polyaspartic coatings provide a seamless and protective finish, extending the lifespan of the surface and enhancing its aesthetic appeal.

Applications of Polyaspartic Coating

Polyaspartic coatings find extensive use in different industries and applications. Some common applications include:

  1. Flooring: Polyaspartic coatings are widely used in commercial, industrial, and residential flooring. Their durability, slip resistance, and ease of maintenance make them an excellent choice for high-traffic areas such as garages, warehouses, and shopping malls.
  2. Automotive: Polyaspartic coatings are utilized in the automotive industry for protecting vehicle surfaces. From car parks to car showrooms, polyaspartic coatings provide a glossy, scratch-resistant finish, ensuring that vehicles maintain their pristine appearance.
  3. Infrastructure: Polyaspartic coatings are used to protect infrastructure such as bridges, tunnels, and walkways. These coatings offer exceptional resistance to harsh weather conditions and corrosive environments, prolonging the lifespan of critical infrastructure components.
  4. Decorative Applications: Polyaspartic coatings can be combined with various decorative elements such as color flakes, metallic pigments, or quartz to create stunning and unique finishes. This opens up a world of possibilities in terms of design and customization.
